SYFC has elected to move forward with a 2020 Season!
Our Conference the Jersey Shore AYF (NJAYF), did in fact elect not to move forward and facilitate a 2020 Season.None the less, a group of organizations have teamed up in an effort to establish a safe, and fun football experience for all!
We would still do so under the National American Youth Football “AYF” Banner with a number of other organizations in the state who have also elected to try and proceed with a season.
The Same AYF Rules/Regulations all apply. We will also have the same Insurance requirements and Coverages set forth by AYF.
There are approximately 20 other teams from the NJAYF that are also looking to participate in a season.
This season will not look or feel like any seasons of the past, we will have strict guidelines set forth including but not limited to the following:
Mandatory use of Masks
Designated Player/Coach/Field Personnel Check-ins &Screenings
Ultimately we need everyone to weigh their options and advise their coaches in a timely manner what their families' decision is with the season. (NO JUDGEMENT! On whatever you and your family decide. ONCE a RAM always a RAM!)
In order to continue and move forward with the 2020 Season we will need ALL REGISTRATIONS submitted online no later than this Saturday 8/15/2020. (ALL Pending Outstanding Registration Payments will be due at this time)
SYFC is looking to lock in teams we will be fielding for this season. We are currently accepting registrations for 7/8, 9, 10, 11, 12, &14U age levels.
Should a particular level not have sufficient number of registrants after the registration deadline, a member of SYFC shall contact that group and advise them of their registration/playing options.
Equipment Handout will be scheduled the weekend of August 22/23. (Formal schedule to be announced via email)
First official team practices will begin the week of August 24th.

All in all there is still plenty of work to be done, but we are confident with the help and support of our SYFC Board as well as the support of our large RAM FAM community all obstacles can be addressed in a safe and productive manner.

Should you elect not to participate and have already registered, here are your COVID 19 refund options:
Submit in writing to email@example.com and request to roll over/credit your registration cost to the 2021 season. (No fee)
Submit in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org refund your registration fee back to the card on file minus a $15.00 processing fee.
Submit in writing to email@example.com your intent to donate your 2020 Season Registration fee to the Southern Rams Youth Football and Cheer 5013(c) organization. (no fee)
Only a 50% refund will be available to families should the season cancel or a mandatory shutdown occur once equipment has been handed out to the players/athletes.
No (0) refund once game play begins.
